Tutti’s family run bakery and confectionery

 

Bringing pride and a passion for quality to products and service:

Established in 1996 by Edmund and Elisabeth (Tutti) van der Merwe, and shortly thereafter joined by their daughter, Bianca van Zyl, this small business was quickly turned into the highly successful Tuttibake confectionery business, now known as Tutti’s.  Their love for creative confectionery and the passion for pleasing their customers have been blended with professionalism to meet the demanding service needs of catering companies, airline caterers, events’ organisers and coffee shops.

Strategically located in Parow Industria, Tutti’s is renowned for its competitive pricing and delectable quality products, delivered on time with a cheery greeting.

Currently a staff complement of 20 runs the operation, with a bakery team on night shift and a day shift handling the catering side. The family has always endeavoured to contribute to the well-being of local communities.  The majority of employees were originally unskilled and unemployed.  Selected for their cheerful, positive and hardworking natures, they have been trained to be a credit to Tutti’s.

Reflecting its expanding range of activities, the company started trading as “Tutti’s”  at the beginning of 2011.  The family’s pride in their unique quality service remains unchanged.
    

Social responsibility

 

  • It is company policy to provide employment opportunities, whenever possible, for unskilled and unemployed people from the local communities
  • Overruns are donated to the Salvation Army
  • The local Meals on Wheels service is supported with cash donations
